The 2030 Task Force has released Part II of the xCore Report, expanding upon the May 2025 findings that documented systemic governance failure across the Wauwatosa School District.
Released July 2025, Part II builds upon months of verified documentation, testimonies, and public concern. What began as early warnings about leadership breakdowns at WSTEM and McKinley Elementary has now been confirmed as a districtwide crisis, marked by escalating harm and institutional paralysis.
Key findings include:
21+ whistleblower accounts spanning multiple schools and departments
State-level findings of racial disproportionality and academic underperformance
Evidence of retaliation, unqualified leadership hires, and misuse of investigations to silence staff
Widespread leadership turnover, collapsing morale, and sustained community unrest
Formal complaints filed with DPI, the U.S. Department of Education, the U.S. Department of Justice, and the Governor’s Office — several of which have already received acknowledgment from DPI and the Governor’s Office
This is not a localized issue—it reflects a collapse of governance integrity, with serious implications for student equity, institutional accountability, and public trust.
